Tickets are now available for the Community Players of Greene County production of “Death by Dessert,” a comedic mystery by Nathan Hartswick.

Performances will be Friday and Saturday, April 5 & 6, at 7:30 pm at the Elks lodge in Jefferson. The offbeat whodunit will be done as dessert theatre, with table seating and dessert served by the Does during intermission. There will also be audience participation, as each table will vote on who they think committed murder.

The cast includes Alicia Sloan, Darren Jackson, Michael Thompson, Tim Pound, Clay Ross, Gabe Bardole, Parker Lehman, Teresa Cross, Linda Nichols, Terry Delp, Lindy Lehman and Reagan Osborne.

Tickets are $15 each. Tickets for the Friday performance are available at Peoples Bank in Jefferson. Tickets for the Saturday performance are at Home State Bank in Jefferson. Seating is limited; tickets will be available at the door if any remain on the night of the performance.

Proceeds from the production will benefit Greene County’s new animal shelter.

“Death by Dessert” is performed under arrangement with Heuer Publishing.
